What kind of proposals can I prepare and submit in OmaStadi?

OmaStadi suggestions can be related to anything the city does. Your idea can also be something completely new. The money can be used for the city’s services, purchases and investments. Once the suggestion has been submitted, the city assesses all the suggestions. After this, city residents can vote for their preferred suggestions.   

If needed, the city will combine similar suggestions. This is to ensure that similar suggestions are not competing against each other. If necessary, suggestions can be modified so that they can be implemented. For example, the suggested location can be changed. Furthermore, the city can remove from a suggestion any such things that are not possible to implement, such as matters that fall under the responsibility of the Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Services Division.

You can submit a suggestion even if you do not know whether it meets the assessment criteria. The city will assess all suggestions. If the suggestion cannot be implemented through OmaStadi, it will not advance to the vote.
