OmaStadi is Helsinki’s way of doing participatory budgeting.
OmaStadi is Helsinki’s way of implementing participatory budgeting. This means that residents can put forward their proposals to improve the city and then vote on these proposals. Helsinki allocates 8.8 million euros to implement the proposals that receive the most votes. You can vote from February 28 to March 17 2024. You have five votes, use them wisely, the Helsinki of dreams is created together.

Proposals
All city residents can prepare and submit proposals. Residents aged 13 or over can log in to the website and submit an OmaStadi proposal.
Voting
Residents aged 13 or over can vote. Each voter selects five proposals to support. The proposals that get the most votes will be implemented.
Co-creation
Together, city residents and city employees plan how the proposals with the most votes will be implemented in practice.
Implementation
The city implements the proposals.
