What happens after I have submitted a proposal?
After submitting the proposal, the city has verified that the proposal made by the resident complies with the evaluation criteria of OmaStadi. If a proposal has been accepted, it means that the city has evaluated that it can be implemented either according to the original proposal or by modifying it.
By the end of January 2024, information about which proposals have been accepted is published on the OmaStadi website. Before the vote, the city will release the final modified and merged proposals that will proceed to the vote. This means that accepted proposals may undergo changes in title, content, or location. Additionally, the city merges together similar proposals for the purpose of voting.
If the proposal does not meet the evaluation criteria, it will not proceed to the vote. The city provides a written justification for the rejection.
The city assesses how much money implementing the suggestion would require.
Information on the suggestions advancing to the vote will be published on the OmaStadi website. All rejected suggestions will be published on the OmaStadi website with grounds for their rejection.
