Instructions how to make a proposal

You can submit your proposals through the OmaStadi website between 22nd of September and 5th of October 2025. You can register your proposals for OmaStadi at the latest 5.10.2025 at 11pm.

Proposals can be related to anything the city does. Anyone aged 13 or over can use the OmaStadi website to submit proposals for the development of the city.  

You can submit your proposal electronically on the OmaStadi website. In order to submit a proposal, you must register as a user in the service.

Please do not enter your personal data, such as name or address, in the form. If you are submitting a proposal as a group, you need to select one person who submits the proposal on the site.

How to submit a proposal

1. Click on “Submit a proposal” at the top of the page.
2. You will receive a privacy notice. Click on “I agree to have my profile made public” to be able to make a proposal.
3. Click on “Save”.
4. Select an area from the drop-down menu. Your proposal can only concern one major district of Helsinki. You can add a more specific address to your proposal if you wish. Fill out the form.
5. Click on “Create and preview”.
6. Check that all the information is correct. Click on ‘Publish’.
