An installation should be created to celebrate the coexistence of humans and other species. Picture frames filled with seeds for birds would allow their visits to create a living, constantly changing artwork.

Proposal description

Framing Kindness is a public art and urban design project that celebrates coexistence between humans and other species in Helsinki. The installation consists of picture-like frames that hold birdseed within them. Birds can perch inside these frames to feed, creating a living, ever-changing artwork in the cityscape, one that features the trees, sky, and the many birds that come and go throughout the seasons. This project turns an ordinary moment into a shared, framed experience and beauty.
