Pumptrack to improve active outdoor recreation in Kannelmäki

Proposal

We propose the construction of a pumptrack in Trumpettipuisto (for example, in conjunction with the skatepark), designed for bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and scooters. The area would be suitable for all members of the community at all skill levels, offering a safe, inclusive space for movement and outdoor activity.

The design would include an asphalt pumptrack (akin to Savela and Ilola), as well seating and shade elements for comfort and supervision.

Target group of the proposal

All ages from 2 years and up (family inclusive), easy for beginners and fun for experienced riders

What will improve if the proposal is implemented?

Physical activity in a safe environment for wheeled sports, sense of community in a shared space
