Summary
An installation made from acoustical material to the lobby of Maunula House and the ceiling of the library’s children’s section. An acoustic playhouse for the children's section. A laser cutter, other DIY machines and guidance for using them.
Proposal description
Maunulan kirjaston äänimaailman pehmentämiseksi akustisesta materiaalista tehty akustoiva teos Maunula-talon aulaan 2. krs (paikallinen taiteilijayhteistyö) sekä kirjaston lastenosastolle akustoiva leikkimökki ja katosta ripustettavia kappaleita lastenosaston teemaan sopien. Maunulaan myös laserleikkuri ja muita tee-se-itse laitteita. Oodissa on vastaava laite, mutta useiden viikkojen jono. Maunulassa voisi myös järjestää opetusta laitteiden käytöstä. Mielestäni Maunula-talo on aika vähässä käytössä, toimintaa voisi tehostaa.
