Tavoitteena on vahvistaa harrastusmahdollisuuksia, yhteisöllisyyttä ja osallisuutta. Kylätalo palvelisi kaiken ikäisiä asukkaita (lapset, nuoret, lapsiperheet, ikäihmiset) ja kaiken kokoisia talouksia tarjoten tilat asukkaiden ja asukasyhdistysten kokoontumiselle, vapaa-ajan vietolle, erilaiselle perhe-, harrastus-, kerho-, kulttuuri- ja yhdistystoiminnalle. Varhaiskasvatustoiminnasta vapautunut Vuorilinnan päiväkodin kiinteistö voisi toimia yhtenä mahdollisena sijaintina kylätalolle.
