Pihkapuisto Park is in need of sprucing up to make it inspire independent exercise. The game field surface could be restored, the wading pool could be transformed for scooter riding or basketball, disc golf baskets could be added and the lighting could be improved.

Malminkartanon pohjoisosan Pihkapuisto on lasten, lapsiperheiden ja nuorten suosittu kohtaamispaikka, joka kaipaa ehostusta houkutellakseen ihmisiä omaehtoisen liikunnan pariin myös jatkossa. Alueella voisi esimerkiksi: 1) kunnostaa pelikentän pinnan ja muuttaa sen esim. tekonurmeksi 2) muuttaa käyttämätön kahluualtaan alue esim. skuuttailuun tai koripalloon sopivaksi 3) asentaa puistoon muutamia frisbeegolf-koreja 4) parantaa valaistusta
