Leikkipuisto Viikkari on aktiivisessa käytössä eri-ikäisten lasten perheiden toimesta ja kaipaa jo pitkään korjausta ja päivitystä. Lisäksi leikkikentältä puuttuu varjoa ja ruokailupaikkoja, mikä erityisesti kesäaikaan on huomattavaa. Kaikki keinut, liukumäet ja hiekkalaatikko sijaitsevat avoimella alueella, mikä aiheuttaa lasten ylikuumenemista heidän leikkiessään siellä.
