Proposal description
Longinoja, Vantaanjoen ensimmäinen sivu-uoma, on Koillis-Helsingin luontohelmi. Monimuotoisen luonnon kruunaa mereltä puroon kutemaan nouseva erittäin uhanalainen taimen, jonka kutusoraikkoja on kunnostettu talkoovoimin yli 20 vuoden ajan. Puron vedenlaatua parennetaan: 1. Kaivosuodattimia valuma-alueen katuverkoston hulevesikaivoihin. 2. Rouhesiepparit tekonurmikenttien hulevesikaivoihin ja rouheen kulkeutumista estävät reunukset kenttien laidoille. 3. Vieraslaji jättipalsamin tehokitkentä.
