The area could be equipped with a movable performance stage, a permanent canopy, benches for the audience, outdoor loudspeakers, lights and a fixed projection screen on the wall. The fountain could be opened and the tunnel taken into use.
Proposal description
Pihlajiston Monttu ehostetaan kaikille avoimeksi asukas- ja tapahtumatilaksi. Pysyvä katos esiintymisalueelle, siirrettävä esiintymislava ja katsomopenkit. Lyhtyvalaistus ja ulkokaiuttimet vaihtuvien äänimaisemien luomiseen. Kuolleena ollut lähde avataan uudestaan, vesielementti tuo pehmeyttä tilaan. Seinälle kiinteä teline isolle projisointitaustalle, joka mahdollistaa näytökset mm. nuorten omille skeittivideoille ym. tuotannolle. Viereinen tunnelitila hyötykäyttöön varastona ja tapahtumissa.
