Ala-Malmi Sports Park needs an artificial turf to replace the outdated sand field. The field would serve several football clubs in the area and Helsinki residents in general.
Proposal description
Ala-Malmin urheilupuistoon tarvitaan tekonurmikenttä vanhentuneen hiekkakentän tilalle. Tämä kenttä tulisi palvelemaan alueen useita jalkapalloseuroja ja kaupunkilaisia yleisesti. Nykyinstä kenttää ei tällä hetkellä käytetä. Vieressä olevat nurmikentät ovat luonnonolosuhteista johtuen poissa käytöstä 3/4 vuodesta. Tekonurmikenttää olisi käytössä lähes ympärivuoden. Tällä hetkellä Malmin alueella jalkapalloa harrastavat kuljetetaan muihin kaupunginosiin harjoittelemaan ja pelaamaan jalkapalloa.
