Puisto on kunnostettava ihmisiä varten. Virkistykseksi ja lepopaikaksi alueen asukkaille ja torilla asioiville: petankkialue, lapsille leikkipaikka, istutuksia ja penkkejä. Alueella ei ole ainoatakan puistoaluetta; ei lapsille, ei varttuneille. Viherniemenpuisto (eli Muotopuisto) on valmis alue, mutta sitä käytetään läpikulkuun ja autojen parkkipaikkana.
