Helsingillä on mattolaitureiden myötä paljon historiaa yhteisöllisestä tavaroiden huollosta. Tätä tulisi jatkaa tarjoamalla kirjastoissa välineitä ja jopa ohjeita vaatteiden huoltoon. Tämä tukisi Helsingin roolia kestävän arjen mahdollistajana ja tarjoaisi yhteisöllisen ja edullisen tavan asukkaille huoltaa vaatteitaan. Tarjolla voisi olla höyryttimiä, nukanpoistajia, vaateharjoja ja kengille rasvoja.
