Helsinki panostaa vahvasti pyöräilyn kehittämiseen ja tätä strategiaa tukisi hyvin kaupunkilaisille avoin polkupyörän pesu- ja huoltopiste sijoitettuna urheilupuistoon. Kerrostaloissa on harvoin mahdollisuutta pyörän pesemiseen joten pesupiste olisi hyvä apu alueen asukkaille ja lähialueella maastopyöräilyä harrastaville.
