Summary
The bridge connecting Vuosaari and Puotila is missing stairs that would allow access to the bridge from the popular recreational route. So why not build stairs between the metro bridge and the walking bridge!
Proposal description
Vuosaaren ja Puotilan yhdistävä kävely- ja pyöräilysilta, viralliselta nimeltään Vuosaaren raittisilta, valmistui vuonna 2018. Vuosaaren puolella sillalle ei kuitenkaan pääse nousemaan suoraan siltoja alittavalta suositulta ulkoilureitiltä, vaan kävelijöiden on kierrettävä yli 300 metrin hassu kierros päästäkseen ylös raittisillalle. Rakentamalla portaat metrosillan ja kävelysillan väliin tämä ikävä suunnitteluvirhe korjautuisi. Uusille portaille on siltojen välissä sopiva paikka jo odottamassa.
