Lampaat toimivat sitkeinä ja tehokkaina vieraslajien torjijina ja niistä on myös paljon iloa kaupunkilaisille, jotka saavat palan maaseutua lähiöönsä. Helsinki voisi selvittää löytyykö kaupungin alueelta sopivia puistoja tai ranta-alueita joissa lampaita voitaisiin hyödyntää. Vastaavaa toimintaa on käytetty mm.
