Bringing information boards and guideposts to the outdoor activity park areas on the southern and western edge of Lauttasaari to provide information about the unique and significant history of the island.
Proposal description
Lauttasaaren etelä- ja länsireunan ulkoilupuistoalueilta puuttuvat infotaulut ja -opasteet, jotka kertoisivat saaren ainutlaatuisesta ja merkittävästä historiasta: Krimin sodan, Itämaisen sodan ”Oolannin sota” (1853–1856) aikaisista venäläisten rakentamista linnoitteista, joita venäläissotilaat vahvistivat ja rakensivat uusia tykkipattereita Turkin sodan (1877–1879) sekä Afganistanin kriisin (1889) aikoina kallioon louhitusta ruutikellarista. Saaren historian verrokkia ei ole muualla maassamme.
