Ehdotuksenani on rakentaa Ruoholahteen/Jätkäsaaren pohjoisosaan rajattu ympärivuotinen kastautumis/avantopaikka, jonka kautta asukkaiden olisi mahdollista käydä turvallisesti ja luvallisesti uimassa lähellä kotiaan. Alueella on paljon merenrantaa ja halukkaita uimareita, mutta valitettavasti rannoilla ei ole yhtään virallista uimapaikkaa. Alueella käydään luvatta uimassa, joten uimapaikalle olisi kova kysyntä. Uimapaikka toisi meren lähemmäs asukkaita ja lisäisi meren terveysvaikutuksia.
