Helsingissä on lukuisia leikkipuistoja, joissa on toimintaa vauvaikäisille ja sitä vanhemmille lapsille sekä heidän vanhemmilleen. Lisäpanostuksella (esim. materiaalihankinnoilla ja/tai lisähenkilökunnalla) tähän toimintaan saataisiin lapsiperheille mukavampi kohtaamispaikka, jossa voi tavata muita samassa elämänvaiheessa olevia.
