Alkutien ja Päivänsalontien risteyksestä puuttuu kevyenliikenteenväylältä suojatie. Risteys on autoilijoille tasa-arvoinen risteys, joka tekee siitä samalla jalankulkijoille vaarallisen ylittää huonon näkyvyyden vuoksi. Lisäksi tästä kohdalta puuttuu kokonaan suojatie.
