Katajanokan asukkailla, järjestöillä ja muilla toimijoilla ei ole käytössään yhteistä asukastilaa. Yhteinen tila tukisi alueen yhteisöllisyyttä ja kokoaisi alueen toimijat yhteen ja rakentaisi heidän keskinäistä yhteistyötään. Katajanokalla ei ole enää omaa nuorisotilaa ja asukastila toisi mahdollisuuden koota myös nuoret mukaan asukkaiden yhteiseen toimintaan ja vuoropuheluun.
