Torpparinmäestä puuttuu asukkaiden yhteinen tila, asukastalo, missä voisi kokoontua, harrastaa (esim. muskarit, kerhot, jooga, teemaillat), järjestää tapahtumia, kokouksia, juhlia ja luentoja. Tilaa voisi vuokrata yritys- tai yksityiskäyttöön. Korttelitalon suljettua ovensa muutama vuosi sitten sisäilmaongelmien takia, tilalle kaivataan kovasti uutta alueen asukkaita yhdistävää tilaa, olohuonetta, mikä olisi helposti saavutettavissa ilman julkisia, kaikkien käytettävissä ja muuntautuisi moneen tarkoitukseen.
Torpparinmäessä ei nykyisellään ole tarkoitukseen soveltuvaa kohdetta. Löytyisikö tiloja koulusta tai onko vanhan korttelitalon tilalle rakennettavaan rakennukseen mahdollista varata tilaa yhteiskäyttöä varten? Itä-Pakilan puolelta voisi kysyä mahdollisuutta Pakintalosta tai Tuomarinkylän kartanosta.
