Ehdotan viemäröidyn matonpesupaikan perustamista Länsi-Helsinkiin. Paikassa tulisi olla useita pesupaikkoja(pöytä (puuta tai metallia) , josta vedet ohjautuisivat viemäriin. Lisäksi paikassa tulisi olla mattojen kuivaukseen tarkoitettuja kuivaustelineitä ja mahdollisesti myös mattomankeli. Paikan tulisi sijaita meren rannalla, jotta merituuli viilentäisi pesijöitä ja kuivaisi mattoja ja toisi tunnelman mattolaiturilla pesusta. Paikoiksi ehdotan joko Munkkiniemen rantaa ( nykyisen mattolaiturin läheisyyteen) tai Pikku- Huopalahden ranta-aluetta. Munkkiniemi ykkösvaihtoehto.
