Munkkiniemi on lapsirikas alue, missä sijaitsee useita kouluja. Laajalahdentie 23:n ympäristössä leikkivät monet alakouluikäiset lapset, jotka hyötyisivät useimmista keinuista, puistonpenkeistä ja koripallotelineistä. Alueella on nyt puistoaluetta, iso hiekkakenttä ja tekonurmi. Välinelisäykset sopisivat alueelle erittäin hyvin.
Laajalahdentie 23-rakennuksessa (IBM:n talossa) toimii tällä hetkellä ja tulee toimimaan monen vuoden ajan useita alakoulun luokkia, jotka viettävät välituntinsa tällä alueella. Tiloissa toimivan koulun alakoululaiset ovat tehneet omasta aloitteestaan addressin mainittujen välineiden lisäämisestä alueelle. Addressi kiersi oppilaiden keskuudessa, ja siihen nimensä lisäsi n. 70 oppilasta.
Idean ovat kehittäneet alakoululaiset. Olisi hienoa, jos oppilaiden idea voitaisiin toteuttaa!
Nuoret toivovat siis lisää roskiksia Munkkiniemen ja Pikku-Huopalahden alueelle.
Tavoitteena on miellyttävämpi ja puhtaampi ympäristö kaikille.
