Kannelmäen ja Malminkartanon välissä sijaitseva puistoalue on suurelta osin vanhaa viljelyaluetta joka on jo kauan ollut kesannolla. Alueella on paljon ulkoilijoita ja myös pelloillekin on muuodotunut kävelyreittejä jotka säästä riippuen ovat käyttökelpoisia. Tämän alueen kasvojenkohotus nostaa merkittävästi alueen käyttöarvoa ja viihtyisyyttä ulkoilijoille. Tässä ehdotuksessa yhteen kerätyissä idoissa on hyvin samankaltaisia toiveita jotka yhdessä muodostavat selkeän ja toteuttamiskelpoisen kokonaisuuden polkujen kunnostamisesta oikeiksi kävelyteiksi, Mätäojan ränsistyneen puuston siistimistä, puistonpenkkejä levähtämistä varten, lisävalaistusta alueen hyödyntämiseksi myös pimeinä vuodenaikoina, kirsikkapuiden istuttamista jne.
