Kronohagen är en stadsdel med många familjer, skolor och daghem som saknar en arena för bollspel och skrinnande. Det finns heller inga trygga aktivitetsområden åt skolbarn, parkerna är riktade till yngre barn.
En mindre bollplan/spel rink som kunde utnyttjas till olika bollspel (fotboll, korgboll, handboll, innebandy) och som på vintern kunde fungera som skridskoplan som kunde utnyttjas av familjer, skolor och daghem kunde placeras på Tjärholmen intill amfiteatern.
Utvecklingen av området skulle stärka möjlighet till motion, rörelse och friluftsliv för våra barn i närmiljön.
Kruununhaassa asuu paljon lapsiperheitä ja alueella on kouluja ja päiväkoteja. Täältä puuttuu turvallinen paikka koululaisille jossa he voisivat pelata esimerkiksi pallopelejä (jalkapalloa, salibandyä, käsipalloa, koripalloa). Leikkipuistot on suunnattu nuoremmille lapsille. Kenttää voisi talvella käyttää luistelukenttänä. Kenttä palvelisi alueen asukkaita, kouluja ja päiväkoteja. Kenttä sopisi hyvin Tervasaarelle esimerkiksi amfiteatterin ja sitä reunustavan nurmialueen kohdalle.
