Places to rest that will be developed for all districts of Helsinki for year-round use. They will be characteristic of the city district in which they are placed and include plantings and other accessories. The benches will provide comfort, safety, a place to rest and ease for everyday life.
The seats will integrate lighting and plant elements that will be different for each city district, in addition to other elements that will increase safety and comfort, where possible. Their design will be decided through a competition held for students in the creative industries.
