Solar-powered ferry for Vartiosaari across Reposalmi

Project

In the summer, a small solar-powered ferry accommodating roughly 12 people will operate across Reposalmi on a trial basis. A ferryman with a boat operator’s qualifications will be hired. A viable follow-up plan will be prepared in cooperation with companies in this sector and volunteers who participated in the brainstorming process.
