Utilising crafts classrooms for recreational use

Crafts classrooms at schools will be opened for recreational use in the evenings and during weekends. These activities will neither be concentrated in one location, nor will the limited funds be used for the wage costs of a facility supervisor. After booking a classroom, active crafts enthusiasts can bring other interested people there with them and keep an eye on them while working on their own crafts.

For the implementation, a person will be recruited who will be responsible for the opening and use of the facilities and instruction in the use of the machinery and equipment. This is to guarantee the safety of the use of the facilities. In addition to recruitment, money has been set aside for cleaning costs, possible costs of hiring a substitute and repairs to the work equipment. Residents must procure the necessary materials themselves. It will not be possible to work on large objects. The schools do not have storage facilities for evening users, so the participant must bring the work and supplies with them each time.
