Directions to entire Helsinki city
Walking is the most sustainable way to get around a city. It is also the most efficient & equitable way to use city space. Yet today, most major cities are designed far less for those walking than for motorised transport. Digital technologies offer people a way to campaign for city streets built for them, not just cars.
Inside Helsinki there are many places to visit as tourist & many regular places people visit for work. As Helsinki is promoting bicycling a lot & we should promote "walk the city". This must enjoyable as well as informative. To do this city should promotes more conversational wayfinding, with messages such as "It’s a 2-minute walk to the library". In most cities, street signs are aimed at drivers, and often don't show those on foot the quickest way to a destination in a city. Sign with info and QR code will help to brings up walking directions on Google maps when scanned with a smartphone. As well as helping people to get around the city & to to improve walkability.
This proposal did not go through because:
Kaupungilla on voimassaoleva kilpailutettu leasing-sopimus infotaulujen tuottamisesta. Sopimus menee vanhaksi 2020-luvulla ja siinä yhteydessä on mahdollista konseptoida ehdotuksen mukanen opastus edellyttäen, että kaupungilla on tehty linajus kyseisen palvelun laajentamisesta.

Minusta tämä on hyvä ehdotus. Hsl.fi voisi kehittää erillisen kävelijöiden sovelluksen, joka olisi yhden klikkauksen päässä bussireittiopastuksesta.
