OmaStadi Events

OmaStadi is about events and activities where the city’s residents can meet each other and discuss how the appropriation of their district’s participatory budget should be spent. You can also draw up proposals that concern the entire city. The city’s seven borough liaisons arrange the events, often in cooperation with the city’s services. The OmaStadi game is used to create ideas and proposals for participatory budgeting in the events. In the game, you will learn more about the steps of participatory budgeting, and once you’ve completed the approximately one hour sessions, your group will have come up with a proposal. You can also arrange events to draw up proposals. In order to do so, contact your district’s borough liaison and order the OmaStadi game.
