Proposal

Summary

People could hike from the Strömberg waterfall all the way to Malminkartano via Mätäjokilaakso, especially if the manor milieu was renovated. There is already a budget for the shores of Central Park in West Helsinki, and the flow of water needs to be taken into account now. The Malminkartano orchard and tree species park would be the highlights of the hike. The Arboretum paths must be reinforced, the broad-leaved trees must be trimmed, and rare coniferous trees must also be marked. A space could be reserved for a coffee and ice cream vendor cart by Juhannuskallio, near the ski trails and the horse stable in winter.

Proposal description

Strömbergin putoukselta voisi retkeillä Mätäjokilaaksoa Malminkartanoon saakka, varsinkin jos kartanomiljöö kunnostettaisiin. Länsi-Helsingin keskuspuiston rannoille tuli jo budjetti, veden virtaus vaatii nyt huomiota. Malminkartanon omenatarha ja puulajipuisto tarjoavat retken kohokohdat. Arboretumin polkuja täytyy vahvistaa, lehtipuut hoitoleikata ja merkitä myös harvinaiset havupuut. Kahvi- ja jädekärrylle voisi varata paikan Juhannuskallion vierestä, talvella läheltä latuja ja hevostallia.
