The end of the Verkkosaari canal in Kalasatama could be equipped with a fountain or a pump that would circle the water so that it would not be so murky and filled with debris. This would allow the people to enjoy the canal area and the fountain more.
Proposal description
Kalasataman Verkkosaaren kanavassa, josta HS kirjoitti "joka ei johda mihinkään", jää vesi vaihtumatta. Seurauksena kanavan vesi on sakeaa, siinä kelluu roskia ja se on muutenkin likaisen oloinen. Toteutetaan kanavan päähän suihkulähde, joka saa pumpulla vetensä mereltä putkea pitkin, jolloin vesi pääsee vaihtumaan. Ihmiset voivat myös nauttia lähellä olevalla portailla suihkulähteestä kesäisin. Mikäli suihkulähde on liian kallis, pumppu + veden vaihtoputki mereltä kanavan päähän riittää.
