Summary
There are no physical activity opportunities for slightly older children and young people in Vartioharju. I propose building a fenced off basketball and football cage at the southern end of Linnalahdenpuisto.
Proposal description
Vartioharjussa ei ole lainkaan liikuntamahdollisuuksia hieman vanhemmille lapsille ja nuorille. Lähimmät lähiliikuntapaikat löytyvät Tankovainiosta ja Puotilasta. Riskupuiston leikkipaikka on tarkoitettu pienille lapsille. Myöskään lähellä olevien päiväkotien pihoilla ei ole liikuntaan soveltuvaa tilaa. Ehdotan, että Vartioharjuun rakennettaisiin aidattu koripallo ja jalkapallohäkki. Sopiva paikka löytyisi esim.Linnalahdenpuiston eteläpäästä, jossa on ollut pitkään käyttämätön nurmikkokenttä.
