Topeliuksenkadun ja Tavaststjernankadun risteys on erityisen ongelmallinen. Risteyksen lähellä on sekä Zacharias Topelius Skolan että Tölö Daghem. Autot ajavat jatkuvasti ylinopeutta ja eivät pysähdy suojatien edessä, kun pienet koululaiset ylittävät tien kouluun. Liikennehidasteita päiväkotien ja koulujen läheisyyteen. Autoilijoiden ei ole liikenteessä helppoa havaita pieniä lapsia, ja tämän vuoksi ympäristöä tulee muokata niin, että se on turvallinen pienille lapsille.
