Proposal description
Perinteinen Katajaharjuntien mattolaituri on yhteisöllinen paikka, jossa puhdistaa kodin matot. Kuluneen mattolaiturin voisi korvata kuivan maan mattopesupaikalla, joka on paitsi ekologisempi, myös ergonomisempi, kun isojakin mattoja on helppo liikuttaa altaissa. Matot saa kunnolla huuhdeltua puhtaiksi pesuaineista hanoilla. Pesun jälkeen mankelissa saa väännettyä turhat vedet pois matosta ja kuivuminen nopeutuu. Pesuvedet kerätään jätevedeksi, eivätkä ne rasita vesistöjä.
