Uimastadionin kautta ympärivuotiseksi pidentämällä tarjotaan kaupunkilaisille paremmat liikunta- ja hyvinvointipalvelut myös poikkeuksellisina aikoina, sekä tuodaan Helsinki esille positiivisessa valossa pimeimpinä vuodenaikoina.
Jatkokehitysvaiheessa selvitetään idean liiketoiminnalliset edellytykset sekä osallistetaan asukkaat ja kumppanit talvikauden toiminnan kehittämiseen ja ekologisimpien lämmitysenergiavaihtoehtojen selvittämiseen olemassa olevan infrastruktuurin puitteissa.
Ehdotuksen eteenpäin viemiseen, yhteistyökumppanien kartoitukseen ja kokeilun rajaukseen tai toteutuksen vaiheistukseen tarvitaan asiantuntijoiden lisäksi mahdollisesti tuottaja- tai hankekoordinaattoriapua.
