Hyväksytty - Congratulations, your idea fulfills OmaStadi criteria! There is a comment about your idea by a City official: Thank you for your idea. The idea needs some specification and in the co-creation we can plan the details of your idea when it's developed into a proposal. The next step is to develop the ideas into proposals together with citizens and city officials. The proposals can be created in the OmaStadi website from 11th of January to 28th of February. Your idea can proceed to the voting only if you make a proposal of your idea in the Omastadi website of if someone else uses your idea in his or her proposal. Similar ideas in one area are developed into one proposal in workshops and in the Omastadi website. Co-creation starts with regional “Alueraksa” workshops that are organized in January and February. Insects friendly park
Accepted to co-creation
In Sibelius Park, we would like to see areas with the wild-growing vegetation (flowers, grass, other small plants) that would not be cutting down, but instead, that would grow naturally as a great house for insects.

That's a great idea. This is already being implemented partly this year, as a part of the Nurmikot kukkakedoiksi -OmaStadi plan from the first round, but I think only on a small area. It would be great to have an even larger meadow area in Sibelius park and to extend our lawns to meadows-project even further on this second round of OmaStadi, so I'm definitely rooting for this! :)
To meet the minimum project cost, maybe this could be an all Helsinki proposal. There are several areas in Haaga that would be great for this kind of management, but they are all relatively small. During the Co-creation phase, I would suggest thinking about asking the city to think more widely about creating these kind of areas.
Thank you, yes, I agree - if the budget allows, this idea can be spread to the city parks around the whole Helsinki. Let's see how it goes in the co-creation phase :)

Four important things:
1. Remember that your great idea DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD to voting phase IF YOU DO NOT make proposal of your idea. It is not difficult. You will find help to do proposal of your idea from OmaStadi-page and from this link:

2. Remember TO PUBLISH your proposal at the latest 28th of February.
3. After your proposal has been published, you can still edit it during the co-creation phase till the end of April. City’s experts will comment your proposal and give directions on OmaStadi-platform how to go further with your proposal. The theme workshops will be organized on April for residents who have submitted their proposals, joined by the City’s experts who will help finalize the proposals.
