Pihlajamäki sai vuonna 2008 Suomen ensimmäisen arkkitehtuuripolun, joka kiertää liki kaikki asemakaavalla suojellun Pihlajamäen 1960-luvun miljööt. Reitin varteen pystytetyt kuvalliset opastaulut alueen suunnitteluhistoriasta, suunnittelijoista ja rakentamisesta palvelevat sekä Pihlajamäkeen tutustuvia matkailijoita että täällä asuvia pihlisläisiä.
Arkkitehtuuripolun opastaulut uusitaan, koska ne ovat väärän materiaalivalinnan takia erittäin huonossa kunnossa.
Arkkitehtuuripolusta kertovat verkkosivut ( https://www.hel.fi/hel2/kanslia/pihlajamaki_arkkitehtuuripolku/ ) päivitetään responsiiviseen muotoon. Sivustolle lisätään kuvia sekä 1960-luvulta että tämän päivän Pihlajamäestä.
