Hylätty - On jo kaupungin suunnitelmissa: Thank you for the participation on OmaStadi. Unfortunately the idea will not be able to progress through the OmaStadi, because it does not meet the OmaStadi criteria. The non-smoking Helsinki program was implemented in 2007–2015 in cooperation with the city's administrations and public health organizations. The city was declared smoke-free by a decision of the city council in early 2007 and has since been working systematically to reduce smoking and take measures in accordance with the Tobacco Act. The Social and Health Service has been responsible for implementing the program. During the program, permanent structures and operating models were created to support smoking. Helsinki's goal is a non-smoking city where children and young people can grow up in a non-smoking environment. The City of Helsinki received the first prize in the Best Non-Smoking Workplace competition for its work in 2011. After the end of the program, the Non-Smoking Helsinki Network was established, the task of which is to further develop non smoking work in Helsinki. Best regards, OmaStadi Team
