Virtual reality has been developing very fast and is much easier to use. Still good equipment is quite expensive and also requires quite a lot of space. Virtual reality can be used in many different ways.

*Learning more about different subjects in a very interactive way like
*Virtual travelling
*A tool for arts
*Solving various tasks : Design, collaboration etc
*Games
*Learning to program 3D graphics for VR

Several libraries spread throughout Helsinki should be chosen with a good geographical spread. At least one VR-station should be set up for all places including both free and paid applications and games. Furthermore a good guide to free web browser VR experiences should be made so that users can explore it themselves and possibly also good pointers to how to make really simple own VR experiences for the web with frameworks like threejs.org

It's important to aim for and easy to use experience like Oculus Rift S, so that only the headset and controllers plus a sufficient PC is needed without any extra external sensors. A good setup can cost around 2000E and at least a few hundred need to be reserved for relevant VR-experiences per setup.
