Urban fruit trees

Proposal

Plant fruit trees instead of decorative trees (eg edible cherries instead of decorative species). Fruit trees should be native heritage species, which will also add to their preservation. City should encourage use of fruit trees by promoting fruit picking days and events.

What will improve if the proposal is implemented?

It will add to the natural feel of the street view and add interactive nature to urban greenery.
