Tällaisia laitureita on muuallakin Helsingissä. Näissä laitureissa on kiinteä osa ja irroitettava osa, joka on mahdollista nostaa rannalle esim. myrskyn sattuessa. Voin lisätä tähän ehdotukseen kuvia vastaavasta laiturista tarvittaessa. Toinen vaihtoehto olisi rakentaa kestävämpi laituri esim. betonista. Olen nähnyt vastaavan betonilaiturin esim. Laajasalossa.
Liitin ehdotukseen valokuvia Särkiniemen puiston rikkoontuneesta laiturista.

Hi Aleksei,
Did you see this ›› https://omastadi.hel.fi/processes/osbu-2019/f/173/results/4
New pier will / should be completed 07 / 2021.
Hi!
Thanks for this link! That's cool to have this reference as it can be used for my proposal, because they look quite the same.
Interesting, I do not remember that there was a swimming place there. It's quite close to the proposal's location.
The first thought after reading your comment was 'Shall I cancel my proposal?', but then I thought that my proposal isn't about getting a new swimming, but about repairing the one that people got used to.
So, thanks again for sending the link, I think it will help a lot with further process!
Hi, and what I understand this new pier is going to be exact that location what is in your proposal. And it is going to be new one so in my opinion there is no need to repair the old pier. Here is one article I found (only Finnish): https://www.lauttasaari.fi/vattuniemen-uimalaiturin-rakentaminen-kevaalla-tassa-strategiset-mitat/
Actually, I found the location of that new pier, and it's not the same as mine: https://omastadi.hel.fi/processes/osbu-2019/f/109/budgets/3/projects/725. That's a bit confusing. I cannot get from the article where exactly is the place of this new pier. I am not sure I can correctly translate this: "Laiturille haettiin sijaintia kolmesta eri paikasta Särkiniemeä, mutta lopullinen sija niemen länsirannalla on alkuperäisen idean mukainen.
But anyway, if it's gonna be in the same place as my proposal, I'll be just happy.
Thanks again!
Hi there Aleksei :) Yes it is going to be very close in the same place as your proposal :)
Actually there is not so many places where you can put a pier that it really stays there (because of the wind and waves etc.). They tried to find a place for three different places and now where the pier is coming is the best place because of the things I mentioned.

Hi, Jarkko! Thanks for your comment!
Shall I remove my proposal then?
I just guessed that people would like to go swimming to the place where they are used to go.
I added the link to the project into my proposal description to make everybody who reads my proposal aware of the new pier in other part of Särkiniemi that is coming this Summer.

Hey
During March, city experts have commented on the proposals on the OmaStadi website and the proposals will be finalized together with city experts also in teemaraksa online workshops. Not all proposals will be addressed at teemaraksa workshops, as some will be completed on the OmaStadi website by co-development and discussion.
Teemaraksa workshop for your proposal is taking place at Monday 12.4.2021 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
It can happen that you will receive a message from the city expert to the comment field of your proposal that your proposal is ready as such and will proceed next to cost calculation. In this case, we will automatically cancel your registration for the workshop if you have already registered.
Register for the teemaraksa workshop by 5.4. 2021. link:

Hei,
Kaupunki on jo rakentamassa uutta uimalaituria Särkiniemen puistoon.
