Idea
A collaborative, community-based section of the hel.fi website would provide Helsinki residents with a forum for sharing practical knowledge about living in Helsinki. This could take the form of answering specific questions (perhaps using a Q&A mechanism similar to sites like StackOverflow), or volunteering knowledge that, while very useful, may not be obvious to many people (especially those who are new to Finland). Community editing could also allow for crowdsourcing of translations for existing hel.fi pages into languages not currently supported.
The success of Wikipedia has shown that such websites can be sustained in the longer term largely through volunteer efforts (including moderation). This idea would only require project-based staff to establish and promote the site in the beginning.

Within that forum, it would be great to have a place for traditional rhymes which are sung to children throughout Helsinki are placed. It would be super great if this project could tie into a project which might amass the various multilingual selections from a gathering of traditional rhymes, and a link to a 'Sweet Dreams Helsinki' portal spot could be accessed by various päivikoti or nurseries to use during nap time. Such a source to tap into could help children from multiple backgrounds build understanding --that we all belong to our community and we all can share in the richness of our shared background communities to feel at ease in our shared community.
