Rocks at Aurinkolahti Beach

Project

The underwater rocks at Aurinkolahti Beach will be removed in an area spanning at least 200 metres, down to a depth of 1.5 metres. Removing the rocks will increase safety and comfort at the beach, which is one of the most popular beaches in Helsinki. Implementation is proceeding according to the original plan. The stones will be removed before the start of the bathing season. Sand will be added onto the beach.
