Smart Queuing System for Citizens - Qtip.Me
On a day-to-day basis, we, citizens find ourselves waiting in queues at various organisations (e.g. Verotalo, Poliisitalo, Kela or Health care) to receive customer service from them. In most of the cases, we are waiting there without a choice; desperately wishing how we could have utilised this time to do something fruitful.
Now, imagine a situation where a Smart Queuing System like Qtip.Me (jonotus.fi) would allow people to secure their place in a queue remotely, using their mobile phone or laptop; send regular notifications over SMS or PUSH and help the citizens reach the service desk few minutes before its their turn to be served. This way, they have the freedom to use their waiting time however they want to.
The organisations will be able to predict their customer flow, cut down on costs and be more productive as a unit.

Thank you for the proposition. This requires changes in the background systems which again requires that all the municipalities involved would be behind the idea. To some background systems, such as Pegasos these kind of changes will not anymore be made because the system supplier in question will supply us with a new system. After Apotti is in use this may be possible. Not supported. Järjestelmämuutokset vaativat useiden käyttäjäkuntien yhteisen tahtotilsn toteutuakseen. Joidenkin taustajärjestelmien kuten Pegasos, osalta ei tämänkaltaisia muutoksia enää tehdä, koska ko toimittajakta on tulossa uusi jörjestelmä. Apotin tultua tämä lienee mahdollista.
