What happens after the co-creation phase?
Once the co-creation phase has ended, the City’s experts will calculate estimates of the proposals’ costs. After this, all proposals that meet the OmaStadi criteria will move on to the voting phase.
The cost estimates form a framework, created based on the actual costs of similar projects implemented before. When creating this framework, the following are factored in, depending on the proposal: cost of a preliminary investigation required for the implementation, planning and construction costs including the required groundwork, salaries of project managers and other necessary experts, and the cost of materials, devices, machines, communications and marketing.
The detailed cost figures, technical requirement documents and implementation plans will be created for those projects that continue on to the implementation phase after the voting.
