What happens after an idea has been submitted?
After you have logged in and saved your idea on the OmaStadi website, the idea becomes public and visible to all. Once the brainstorming phase has ended, the City’s experts will conduct a preliminary review of the ideas. This review is performed to assess whether the ideas meet the criteria and are able to proceed to the co-creation phase. Later, during the co-creation phase, the ideas are further developed though collaboration into proposals matching the OmaStadi criteria, ready for the voting phase. Once the co-creation phase starts, you will receive an invitation to join the workshops where ideas are developed into proposals, if you have submitted an idea on the platform.
Ideas that do not meet the OmaStadi criteria will not be able to progress to this phase through the participatory budgeting. You will be notified of the decision and its grounds. Please note that there are other influencing channels that you can use to promote things that are important to you in Helsinki.
You can follow the implementation of the most popular projects from the previous OmaStadi voting round on the Tracking page.
